After several months of searching for the right job, I finally have one now! I’ll be starting next Monday and I can’t wait! Although it’s not exactly the company that I was hoping for at first, I came to realize that it’s actually a pretty good one as I may have the chance of having my masters degree for free after one year. And yes, I’m really interested in pursuing my studies in the future. So because of this decision, I most likely would not be taking up Law anymore but who knows right? I’m not closing my doors to that possibility. I have so much ahead of me. 

Having that job is a good way to celebrate my birthday month! Since I’ll be turning 21 soon, I consider that job as one of my birthday gifts. (OMG I can’t believe that I’ll be turning 21 already! NOOOOO! Hahaha) And yeah, I still have a lot that I want. Material things of course hihi. On top of that list is Macbook Air 11” ! Hahaha. I’m planning to buy it for myself, though not in the near future since my laptop is still okay and it can suffice my needs at the moment. 

Another thing I’m planning to buy, prolly next year, is Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7! OMG it has the perfect specs I need for a tab! Cos it was just announced and it’s not yet available, I still have a lot of time to save up for it. And this one’s most likely a go because it’s running on Android Honeycomb. I was thinking of getting an Ipad2 before but since my sister has it already, there’s no point in buying another iOS device. We want to try everything! Haha. I like it better anyway since it’s smaller and has Adobe Flash support! And a ton of other features that I want, so I’m really excited! :)

See how delicious it looks??? I just wanna lick it! Haha kidding. 

I also have plans on buying a new phone though mine just turned a year older. I can’t decide yet between a Samsung Galaxy S II or a Blackberry Bold Touch 9800. Good thing I’m still confused with the amount of mobile devices I can choose from, so that gives me more time to save up. Considering their prices at the moment, of course I need to save up! But I don’t think I’ll be buying a new mobile phone anytime soon. I still love my Nokia C6 and it doesn’t have any defects yet. Those reasons are enough for me to keep it although Android apps are so tempting and my HS friends want me to switch to BB so I can communicate better with them. Oh well. :)

Last week, my Dada asked me what I want for my birthday. When he asked me that, I haven’t decided on anything yet so I tried to come up with something. I’ve never lost my love for reading and it’s always what I do everytime I’m waiting for my boyfriend or whatever. I also borrow my sister’s Ipad to read her tons of ebooks. Those reasons made me decide to ask for an E-book Reader on my birthday! :) It’s just right because I don’t have to spend money to buy books anymore bcos I can easily download ebooks in epub format from Torrent hihihi. And my sister has a lot already, sooooooo…

The obvious choices are Amazon Kindle 3 and Barnes and Noble Nook Simple Touch. After reading a number of reviews, I’ve decided on the Nook because it’s smaller, there’s no keyboard, it can read epub format so no need to convert unlike the Kindle, and blahblah the list goes on. It took me several days to choose between the two, but I’m pretty sure with my decision now because I’ve read so much about it already. We’ll ask someone from the States that will come home soon so that we can purchase it cheaper so I’ll most likely get it on the last week of September or early October. Oh gosh I can’t waitttttt! Thanks awesome parents! :)

I’ve noticed that my post is gadget/techie-heavy. Haha. That’s the strongest influence of my boyfriend on me. He’s such a gadget junkie that I can’t resist being interested haha. 

Wish me luck on my first day of work next week! I’m not that excited yet but I’m positive that the excitement will come soon! :) I feel so blessed and happy right noooow! :)
